The story begins in 1980, when Iván’s parents purchased a plot of land they named Buenavista, inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding mountains. Originally dedicated to growing corn, beans, and livestock, the land gradually transformed into a coffee plantation—their true passion.
The family, made up of eight children, actively contributed to the farm’s development. Over the years, the coffee trees became a symbol of unity and heritage. Each tree cultivated represents a living link between generations.
Today, each sibling manages a part of the finca. Iván, one of them, has devoted himself wholeheartedly to producing specialty coffees. Curious and committed, he refined his skills through expert guidance while staying true to traditional and environmentally respectful methods.
The coffee from the Buenavista farm is organically grown, handpicked, in harmony with the rhythms of nature. Each bean is handpicked at its optimal ripeness to reveal all the richness of the terroir and the passion of a family deeply rooted in their land.
This coffee is much more than a product: it is the fruit of a family story, a daily commitment, and a generous land. An invitation to savor Colombia through a coffee grown with love and patience.
